|Special meeting – July 9th, 1927
A special meeting of the West Lafayette Library Board was held at the library at 8 P.M. with all members present.
A motion was made to increase the salary of the Librarian from $85 to $100 PER MONTH.
A motion was passed that the library use the [?] Blanks adopted by the State Board of Accounts and the secretary was authorized to oder 1000 printed by Haywood Pub. Co.
Dr. E. G. Campbell asked the board to accept his resignation in view of the fact that he was leaving the city, and the secretary was ordered to inform the city council of his resignation.
An appropriation of $1679 was made to pay the indebtedness at the Purdue State Bank of $1650 and interest of $29.00.
The following budget for 1928 was adopted:
