West Lafayette Ind, June 4, 1929
The Library Board met for business at the regular time and place. There were present: Mrs. Price, Miss Shoemaker, Mr. Burtsfield, Sect'y Vawter, and L. J. Pierce Vice Pres. in the chair.
The minutes had the approval of the Board as read. The Librarian's report brought out the following information:
Volumes in Library: 5541
Mrs. Price who had recently attended the meeting in Washington D.C. Made brief report of the happenings there but was of the opinion that, ||aside from the sight seeing privileges|| there was more of value for the Board members of our class in smaller gathering as we have them in our own State.
The total of the bills presented for payment amounted to $222.27.
On motion of Mrs. Price approved by Mrs. Burtsfield the bid of Mr. Puckell for decorating the lower rooms of the Library building for sum of $105.00 was accepted.
