The Applications of Mrs. E. A. Price, Mary Smith, Miss Ruth Strong, Rosemary Leopold, and Arthur Adams for the position of
Asst. Librarian were presented. After a lengthy discussion at the qualifications of each one the Board unanimously voted to employ Mary Smith.
The Sec. was instructed to notify Judge Herregar that the term of Mrs. E. A. Price and Dean Shoemaker had expired Nov. 16th and the City Council that the terms of L. J. Pierce and W. R. Smith as members of the Library Board had expired Nov. 15, 1932.
Mrs. Dickey reported the resignation of Arthur Adams as Janitor and recommended employing Robert Richardson to take his place.
The Board approved her recommendation.
The Librarian’s report was given, approved, and ordered filed.
Bills to the amount of $313.23 were presented and ordered paid.
