W. Lafayette Library Board convened with Mrs. Emerick, Mrs. McQueen, Mr. Burtsfield, Mr. Graves and Mrs. Adams present.
Minutes of the Nov. meeting were read and approved.
Bills amounting to $260.10 were allowed and ordered paid provided there was not an over draft for books in which case the book bill was to be held until Jan.
The finance committee was requested to investigate the ported overdraft for books, also to inform the board of the library fiscal year as recorded by the city clerk.
A motion carried to take a membership for Mrs. Dickey in the Historical Society for $2.00 thereby receiving the Indiana Magazine of History.
Mrs. Dickey reported an unusual busy day Dec. 1st with 375 books loaned.

All board members were urged to be present at the state meeting in Indianapolis on Dec. 7-8-9.
Motion carried to leave the matter of redecorating the building as a project of C. W. A. to the building and grounds committee.
The finance committee reported on the matter of insurance. A motion carried to take out:
$2700 – Insurance on Bldg
$7200 – Insurance on Fixtures and Books
$9900 – Total Fire and Windstorm Insruance on an 80% Co-Insurance plan to be taken for 3 years at a total premium of $190.85 to eb placed in an Old Fire. Co.
