The West Lafayette Public Library Board met in regular session with all members present.
Reports that had not been acted upon were read and approved.
Bills were checked and ordered paid in the sum of $301.94.
A motion for dividing the insurance fund on building and contents into three parts was passed.
The fund was divided as follows: Each policy was to include $800 on the building and $2500 on the contents.
Mr. Adams was to write his third for three years. Mrs. Kelly her third for two years, and Mr. Stallard his third for one year.
The Librarian reported a circulation of 3956 books for the month – 1155 non-fiction and 2801 fiction. The daily circulation was 165 books. Thirty-six new books were added to the shelves. The entire number of books on the shelves as present is 10222. There were 60 new borrowers during the month. The juvenile registration is now 1023 and the adult 2024.
The election of officers will take place at the next meeting.
A nominating committee of Mr. Burtsfield and Prof. Mason was appointed.
