The Library Board met December the seventh with all members present. The secretary’s report was read and approved.
Bills to the amount of $501.49 were checked and ordered paid.
Mrs. Dickey’s report showed a total of 10,738 books on the shelves. The circulation for the month was 3705 books. The library was open twenty five days.
The insurance policy with the Stallard Insurance Co. was received. Mrs. Dickey called attention to the fact that the insurance policies were kept in her safety box at the Purdue State Bank.
The purchase of a new sign for the library was discussed. Mr. Vawter made a motion which was seconded by Mr. Mason, giving Mrs. Dickey authority to secure the sign.
Mrs. McQueen appointed Miss Cunningham, Mr. Vawter and the secretary as a nominating committee.
There being no other business the meeting adjourned.
