The Library Board held its regular session in the children’s room of the library, Tuesday evening December the sixth. All but one members of the board was present.
Mrs. Dickey’s report for November showed a daily circulation of 190 for the twenty four days that the library was open. The total circulation was 4,263. 1347 adult fiction, 1608 juvenile fiction, 922 adult non-fiction, 386 juvenile non-fiction.
National books week was observed and Mrs. Dickey reported an increase in the attendance and interest shown by the children.
Mrs. Dickey asked to do some extra work that was necessary. A motion was made that Miss Moore do the work but that the remuneration for the work not exceed the amount of the assistant’s salary as set aside in the library budget.
November bills were checked and allowed to the amount of $443.36.
Mr. Creek appointed a nominating committee as follows:

Mr. Creek called for committee reports and Mr. Mason reported that the new treads for the stairway were laid and satisfactory. He made a motion that all bills for shelves and work done during December be paid before January first, provided the amount was held within the limits of the budget.
Motion for adjournment was made and passed.
