The Library Board met Monday June the third at seven o’clock in the library. Mr. Creek, Mr. Vawter, Mrs. Martin, the secretary with
Miss Cunningham presiding heard the librarian’s report which was as follows:

New vol. added 33 (10 adult and 20 juv.)
New borrowers 15 (10 adult and 5 juvenile)
Miss Cunningham told the Board of a gift by the Morton Parent Teachers Association of $100. It was moved and seconded that the Board accept gratefully the gift and acknowledge same. Miss Cunningham was to deposit said $100.00 in the Lafayette Savings Bank under the name “The West Lafayette Library Fund.”
Bills to the amount of $279.89 were checked, approved and allowed paid.
Discussion of bids and contracts for painting and papering the interior of the children’s department of the library were discussed. On Mr. Creek’s motion it was decided to let Mrs. Dickey give the contract to the lowest bidder provided the bid came within the budget.
