The Library Foundation's Fall ASK LETTER:

November, 2018

Cultivating our community’s readers, thinkers and lifelong learners - that’s what our Library Foundation does!   This year we have much good news to share with you.

Thanks to your support over the years, we are taking a lead in providing funding in addition to the annual tax income stream for our Library:

  • Sparking creative young people by funding the Library’s STEM initiative.
  • Encouraging readers in our West Lafayette neighborhoods, funding and stocking Little Free libraries.
  • Purchasing large print books so that folks in our retirement communities or who otherwise have vision challenges can continue reading. We are matching funding from a generous donor and from Duke Energy.
  • Developing home libraries, by offering a newly purchased book to every child attending Library programs.         The Foundation is matching funds with those from a generous donor couple.
  • And looking to the future, the Library Foundation is helping fund the Library’s Feasibility Study, developing plans for the Library’s next decades of service.

It is an exciting time for the Library and for our supporters!

Thank you for your generous support for the Library Foundation and the Library’s Fund with                        the Community Foundation in the past; we encourage you to continue your support now.

PayPal is available on the lower part of this page for those who prefer online giving.
