Jane Eyre on Monday, February 13 at 6:45 pm

Starring Mia Wasikowska as the film’s eponymous heroine, Michael Fassbender as the mysterious Mr. Rochester, Judi Dench as Mrs. Fairfax, and Jamie Bell as St. John Rivers, director Cary Fukunaga offers a splendid retelling of Charlotte Brontë’s beloved novel in the latest adaptation of Jane Eyre (2011).

 Agora on Monday, March 12 at 6:45 pm

Set in fourth century Roman Egypt, Agora (2009) examines the social unrest incited between religious and political factions as agora-photothe city Alexandria teeters on the brink of violent revolution. Caught between these warring factions is the scientist-philosopher Hypatia (Academy Award-Winner Rachel Weisz) who becomes increasingly isolated as she strives to save the library of Alexandria and preserve the knowledge of classical antiquity.

Agora will be presented by WALLA on Monday, March 12 at 6:45 pm in honor of Women’s History Month. (127 minutes; R)
